Important Kentucky Election Information

2020 is an IMPORTANT ELECTION YEAR!

75 KY House seats and 11 KY Senate seats are on one or both ballots, June and November. 
Also on the ballot with the KY General Assembly seats: US President, one of Kentucky’s two Senate seats in DC,
all six of our Congressional seats in DC, and a number of local races.

THE PRIMARY ELECTION ON JUNE 23rd IS BY MAIL-IN BALLOT

All registered voters will receive a postcard with a link to request your absentee ballot.  Follow the link on your postcard
or contact your local County Clerk to get your absentee ballot…then fill it out and mail it in!!  
All ballots will have a pre-stamped and pre-addressed return envelope!

DEADLINE FOR REQUESTING YOUR MAIL-IN BALLOT:   
Midnight on June 15, 2020

IF YOU LIVE IN JEFFERSON COUNTY:

You may request your absentee (mail-in) ballot NOW by going to:  www.jeffersoncountyclerk.org/AbsAppRequest

In the center of the screen, there is a drop-down box for the “Please Select a Reason for the Request”. 
Click the last one:  Medical Emergency – COVID-19.  You can have the ballot request emailed or mailed to you. 
Fill out the request and mail it in and then your ballot will be mailed to you.

The General Election is on November 3rd.   We will know more about the voting method for that election later on.

 Get active in YOUR local races!  Support your candidates, spread the word to increase turnout candidates, spread the word to increase turnout.
