Good Morning, 

The Department for Medicaid Services is holding a public comment period beginning Monday, October 5, 2020, for updates to the Home and Community Based (HCB) and Model II (MIIW) waiver applications. 1915(c) Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) waivers expire every five years and must be renewed with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The HCB and MIIW waivers are due for renewal this year. Please read the public comment notice below for more information. The public comment period will run through Friday, November 6, 2020.

The full HCB and MIIW applications will be released no later than close of business on Monday, October 5, 2020. DMS will also release a summary of updates and has scheduled a webinar for Monday, October 12, 2020, to review updates with stakeholders. Please see the webinar notice below for more information.
