The Department for Medicaid Services (DMS) is re-issuing a letter that includes several important policy updates for Kentucky's 1915(c) Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) waiver programs. The policy guidance in this letter related to service unit rounding has been amended and supersedes the “Waiver Policy Updates” letter first issued on November 6, 2020, and re-issued on November 18, 2020. The policy guidance related to service notes issued on November 6, 2020, and the policy guidance related to respite and electronic visit verification re-issued on November 18, 2020, remain the same.
